A very enjoyable comedy with a couple of odd casting choices, lots of crude humor, and definitely not suitable for younger kids.
...mostly because of that aspect. It seems to be really "wrong" and I enjoy that a lot in films. I still find Rogen to be such an odd choice, though.
Someone spoil me: does the film explain why Paul talks and acts like your average American? (like, he learned about the civilization through TV or so). Because lack of such explanations bother me so much more than the aliens in Battle LA having no solid reason to attack.
I give it 4 out of 5 pop culture references.
Thanks for your review, though!

PAUL. Is it worth the ticket price?

I still haven't gotten around to Shaun of the Dead for the same reasons.

I enjoyed it and laughed a lot, but I went in with very low expectations based on critic reviews. *NM*
