the trailer put me off. I was expecting more of a stylized film. I wish they didn't use clips from the first movie. Also, not showing the faces of Patrick Stewart and Ian Mckellen kind of put me off. It's like they lacked production higher-up nods to use material from another project. I understand that they needed to bridge things for the people who are not familiar with the characters, trailers are just supposed to be cool intro/teases of the characters and the movie.
The casting is a big thumbs up. The premise was unclear based on the trailer. The guy who made the trailer is either the most uncreative person in hollywood or a genius who scrambled to put together something from a pile of dailies crap.
Either way, this trailer hasn't hyped me up. Trailers have a bad habit of eclipsing or spoiling a movie.
but. its an x-men movie. still going to watch it. i hope they pull it off.

The most interesting thing they've included is the Magneto submarine incident.

I kinda expect Fassbender as Magneto to steal the show, though *NM*
