we did try to keep it very limited at that age but agree it is ver hard to cut out. She is almost five and watches more TV than I would like but probably a lot less than most of the kids her age. She gets to watch about 1/2 an hour of TV after breakfast and sometime while we are making dinner at night she gets to watch another 1/2 hour. Most weekends she will watch one or two of her movies, sometimes a little more.
That is pretty limited by today’s standards but it still adds up to 10-20 hours a week. I would like to cut out the morning TV but it makes the whole morning go smoother and gets everyone's day off to a smoother start.

Yeah. You have to interact with them or teach them to read early. No one learns jack from TV *NM*
