Even in the pilot the stargate was used, and not just to arrive on Destiny.
Maybe it wasn't used in every single episode, but that doesn't make it not a Stargate show.
I've never really understood why so many people have dogged on this show, as it is the highest quality television of all of the Stargate franchise. No really bad acting from RDA and Co., no cheesy looking Goa'uld, no tongue in cheek humor.
But then, it sure seems that the viewers of SyFy seem more interested in a bunch of muscle men running around a ring in spandex groping each other while trying to act all macho; or a bunch of gullible idiots peeing their pants in fear as they investigate the next new "haunting."

Death to the Regressives of the GOP and the TeaParty. No mercy for Conservatives. Burn them all at the stake for the hateful satanists they are.
Syfy is canceling SGU

I'm a little disappointed. I do like the show, but hopefully they'll have a satisfying conclusion. *NM*

I would have "officially" watched it more if they'd played nicer with Hulu.

That's why I wasn't "official." If Syfy makes it inconvenient to watch, we aren't counted.

My problem was the use of the name Stargate.
