Regarding Ron's erroneous assumptions though, I think that's a perfectly reasonable thing for an insecure teenager to worry about. I was a bit irritated that in the movie Ron and Harry never talked about it like they did in the book though. Not even briefly.
Agree completely. And I loved that fear part-- it does make a lot of sense for a kid who's a very middle boy, followed by an only sister. It didn't surprise me, and fit right in because his spiders were there too.
