".

I'm only vaguely aware of Dream Theatre, due to not listening to much prog or metal.

My tastes tend toward alt-rock, folk, jazz, blues, soul, funk, punk, classical- in all its multifarious forms, reggae, ska, boogie-woogie, rock'n'roll, electronica, new wave and weird uncategoriseable stuff. Basically all music sans country and homogenised pop s***e.

That leaves for much past music to be discovered anew on a regular basis.

Whenever I discover something new I like I spend the next couple of hours exploring that band's other work and maybe some of the stuff in the youtube sidebars.
