The costumes also look good but different than how I always imagined them. Not enough black (or at least well faded black) for the boys at Castle Black. I hope we get to see some accurate representations of Dany's changing styles as the series progresses.
Also, good news that GRRM MUST finish his series at some point (hopefully in good time too) to keep a good pace with the show. How much would it suck if we had to wait a couple years in between seasons because GRRM is still working on the next book and the next book?

First off, A STORM OF SWORDS is likely going to be 2 seasons, and possibly A DANCE WITH DRAGONS as well. That puts us 7 seasons away from there being a problem, not to mention that to go 9 seasons (and that's assuming WINTER and SPRING won't have to be split as well) this will have to be HBO's most successful and long-lasting drama show ever.
In the worst-case scenario, Martin has given an outline of the rest of the story to the producers, so they can work from that if necessary.
