I think Star Trek is the only new film I've seen

It was a blast - like you said, it had huge plot holes but it just belted along fast enough that they didn't bother me. It didn't take itself to seriously either, it almost felt like it was sending up Star Trek at moments without actually going into being a parody. I like big films that aren't too serious.
