I rarely see posts about this show on the board and I'm a little surprised by this fact because this is one of the better shows that syfy has put forth. I was actually surprised that I took to the show so much. I didn't hate the originals, but I often found myself unable to make myself care about the characters. Season 2 has a scene that really makes you feel it. It is often that an actor can really make genuine man tears without going full retard in the scene. Was anyone else a little impressed with that scene or am I the only one bothering with this show this time around.
On a side note, I'm in the market for some new shows and I'd like to know what people think of the community and Battle Star Galatica. I've got netflix and I may as well put it to good use.

I loved SG-1 and SGA. That being said I love SGU also. They have moved away from the standard formula of those shows and in general I think it works. It's far from a perfect show, but it's entertaining. It takes awhile to get into, but it gets much better than the first few episodes show. It has room for a lot of improvement, but it's good for a second season show.
Also, BSG rocked. I loved all of it, even the low points. It would highly recommend that.
Kirk: Spock, you want to know something? Everybody’s human.
Spock: I find that remark…insulting.

I gave up on SGU after that travesty of an episode with Scott's infection/dream. TOTAL WASTE!
