Was it the gay roommate/bed sharing thing? From my perspective (as well as ethnic culture), it's pretty normal for guys to share a bed or even a blanket.

what ethnic culture are you from? Most guys i know wold rather sleep on the floor without a blanket than in a bed with another man. Even best friends, and that's before adding in that one of the men is gay.
I have nothing against some man on man action if that's what you are into, but most of the guys i know would never sleep in the same bed, even with a straight guy.
