In real life? He's married to her? She's a boy girl.


I don't know that she's written like an idiot- they seem to be trying to write her like a "real" person, but she gets too riled up about strange things. There are times when it freaks me out that I have the same confused face Dexter does when she starts going off.

I think the main thing I'm irked by (and it's just another "human" mistake) is that his father accepts and fosters the darkness, rather than getting him any kind of help. It seems so strange. And, as the premise for the show, it pops up in one's face repeatedly. Also, I LOVE the way the first season ended, but (SPOILER FOR ANYONE WHO HASN'T SEEN IT) it seemed so strange to me that he would grab a kid out of that trailer and leave one sitting there. There are just little things like that that they could easily explain away, but left hanging. Anyway, it's always easy to nitpick a show, but I really love this one. I'm almost positive there was something else that bothered me, but I'd have to re-watch. If it gets triggered, I'll edit.
