My friends, the glorious return of the B-movie is upon us, and by god, it's beautiful.

Explosions, decapitations, beautiful women, big guns, cars, and most inexplicably? Stars. I mean, DeNiro? Really?

I'd say that its a popcorn popper, but its more than that. It's a work of art... a genre distilled. It even had the possibility of an interesting plot that got buried, I presume, because too much plot just would have gotten in the way.

I don't even know whether to recommend it. If you're gonna like it, you're REALLY gonna like it, and if you aren't then you are probably gonna hate it, and deservedly so. There is so much that is hateable about this film, so many reasons to despise it, and yet?

Hell of a way to use that celluloid.
