Because THAT was a horrible film, what with their idiotic rush towards the shooting muskets who, of course, all aimed the other way in last second because of the heroic gesture. *throws up*


Yeah. That was never in the book. In fact, that whole film, never in the books. Yes, twins; yes, plot; yes, aramis and porthos plotting.

Athos plotting? NO.
D'Artagnan FATHER OF THE BLOODY KING? NO.
Goddamned stupid Hollywood shit. Gah. I want to hurt someone.

And I usually like Irons and Malcovich.


I have never liked Malcovich. But I do like Gabriel Byrne and Jeremy Irons, and I felt BETRAYED. Dammit.
