When a monster is deformed from the norm, I get scared.
Ever seen Pan's Labyrinth?... that monster had no eyes but had eyes on his hands. And the way he walked just totally freaked me out.
If something is human or has humanoid features I can live with that. But when it's twisted so that its out of place, I want to freak out... like if a monster has no eyes.
I agree. No eyes is as scary as wide creepy eyes.
