If there is one thing True Blood has been really good at the last two seasons it was red herrings in the previews. I noticed they laid of a little this year, but still, I just can't believe that Eric and Russell are going to go out like that. I am suspecting that maybe Eric is just weakening Russell and then they will go back inside and Pam and Bill will gang up on him.
That might not be accurate though because I think Pam might have locked the door behind them. Not sure though. Another possibility might be that Eric just barely makes it somehow and Sookie feeds him her blood like she did Bill. I just can't see them killing Eric, a fan favorite in season 3 (he doesn't die in the books does he?).
I'd just be odd to kill off a fan favorite, but maybe...
I'm going to say no to the plan of weakening Russel so they can kill him. Eric is ready to die for this. Also, Pam's grief is too great for her to be waiting for Eric's plan to work. And if you recall, Sookie is nearly drained. Bill is desperate to save her but I think Pam has decided that if Eric dies, so will Sookie and likely Bill. Pam is so beautifully ruthless.
As for Eric in the books, no spoilers, read the books.
I'm not sure what's going on with Jesus. Is he bad or good? Has the evil Lafayette's mom has been worried about actually been Jesus all this time? Is the whole relationship thing a ruse by Jesus? I'm not sure but something is really off there.
I think any evil Jesus does will be out of ignorance and the desire to mettle in things he doesn't understand and can't control. Like a lot of people.
I swear I love Terry's character and there's not even anything special about him. But seeing him fist pump after the doc said the baby was OK was great! His character is such a sweetheart. The preview showed Renee but that could be a red herring again. Who knows?
I think what makes Terry so special and a fan fav is that he is so sweet. He gives a touch of humor and gentleness in a show that can be really heavy and bloody. Terry makes you happy.
Yes, Terry is one of my favorite characters and he doesn't even do anything spectacular on the show except care about others.
I'm not too impressed with the witch either. I hope she isn't a recurring character.
Well I suspect she'll be back next season. But I won't say why. Again, reading is fun-d-mental.
Jason? So, will we have a dumb-as-rocks were-panther next year? I am predicting that he tries to intervene in the drug raid and gets bit. I am also predicting the girl will die leaving Jason a lone were-panther next season trying to figure himself out. Thoughts?
No comment. Except that I don't think Cristal is dumb. She is confused, scared, and has a huge loyalty conflict. The thing about Hot Shot that may not come through is that EVERYONE there is family. Its a village of Panthers. She's been raised to keep her blood line pure and to keep her power secret. She's actually being really brave standing up and breaking away, but it's hard for her. She slips.
Oh, I wasn't calling Crystal the dumb were-panther, I was suggesting Jason.
Sam's little brother? I suspect 9and hope) that Sam will bust him trying to break the safe and send him away. I don't really like Tommy's character and don't see a future for him.
Sam's already busted him at the safe, remember? I don't think he'll do that again.
Yeah, but it looked like at the end of the episode he was trying to break into it again while Sam and Tara were doing their thing. It looked like Same had it wired to the lights by the side of his bed and that Tommy was trying to bypass them.
I predict Tara will remain confused and next season she will get in some kind of weird, disturbing sexual tryst that will tear her soul apart - again.
I donno why everyone is so hard on Tara. Kidnappen, multiple rapes, nearly murdered. All about a DAY after the man she loved was shot and killed. And lets not forget, when Eggs died, Tara had no idea what he'd done as Mary Ann's pawn.
Actually, Tara doesn't bother me that much. I don't know why people hate her so much. She just gets the short end constantly, I'd like to see her character do something good or get something good.
And then to find out Jason, whom she has always loved and looked to as a protector tells her he killed the man she loved? It wouldn't break you too?
They've given Tar and her actress a lot to deal with, all the time. She's often in more danger and drama than Sookie. And she doesn't even have super powers to help her.
Sookie is just stupid.
Yes, she is.
But wine was the great assassin of both tradition and propriety...

Um...I read the books, so my predictions would be a bit weighted. *NM*
