Older vampires burn faster Helene Send a noteboard - 02/09/2010 08:56:56 AM
If there is one thing True Blood has been really good at the last two seasons it was red herrings in the previews. I noticed they laid of a little this year, but still, I just can't believe that Eric and Russell are going to go out like that. I am suspecting that maybe Eric is just weakening Russell and then they will go back inside and Pam and Bill will gang up on him. That might not be accurate though because I think Pam might have locked the door behind them. Not sure though. Another possibility might be that Eric just barely makes it somehow and Sookie feeds him her blood like she did Bill. I just can't see them killing Eric, a fan favorite in season 3 (he doesn't die in the books does he?).

Since Russell is 3 times as old, he'll perish faster. Remember Godric?

I'm not sure what's going on with Jesus. Is he bad or good? Has the evil Lafayette's mom has been worried about actually been Jesus all this time? Is the whole relationship thing a ruse by Jesus? I'm not sure but something is really off there.

I think that Jesus has the potential for great evil, as his grandfather or great grandfather had recognized. He's not evil yet, but Lafayette could see his potential now, too.

I swear I love Terry's character and there's not even anything special about him. But seeing him fist pump after the doc said the baby was OK was great! His character is such a sweetheart. The preview showed Renee but that could be a red herring again. Who knows?

Arlene has nightmares about Renee, so that's a likely source. She is very afraid of this baby.

I'm not too impressed with the witch either. I hope she isn't a recurring character.

She looks rather expendable. I was wondering for a bit if she was going to stab Arlene during the ritual. But that would have been random. She might also grow more powerful and become relevant next season.

Jason? So, will we have a dumb-as-rocks were-panther next year? I am predicting that he tries to intervene in the drug raid and gets bit. I am also predicting the girl will die leaving Jason a lone were-panther next season trying to figure himself out. Thoughts?

Yes, Jason will be a werepanther.

Sam's little brother? I suspect (and hope) that Sam will bust him trying to break the safe and send him away. I don't really like Tommy's character and don't see a future for him.

Tommy's annoying.

I predict Tara will remain confused and next season she will get in some kind of weird, disturbing sexual tryst that will tear her soul apart - again. :P

I thought that Tara finally started to realize that other people have their own demons, after talking with Andy. She was filled with righteous fury when talking to him and then just fizzled out. Of course, then her solution was to drink large quantities of alcohol and fuck Sam.
