I want something that will make me laugh and something to remind me that there are good, funny, creative people out there. I know there are, so I don't think that "remind" was the right word but I don't know what is. What are your picks for the best feel good movies you have seen?
My parents have the VHS collection at their house. Was it better than the book or should I just go back and re-read the book? The bits and pieces I saw of the mini-series actually seemed like it was farely true to the book.
Thank you for answering.

Tash
I like it better than the mini-series, and I personally think it captures the tone and feeling of the book perfectly while perhaps being "less true." The mini-series does have Colin Firth, however, so that's a plus. But Matthew McFayden ain't bad either.

Insert theme music here.
I need an upper. What are the best movies that I could rent right now for what ails me?
