otherwise the prequels may have turned out to be great movies instead of just ok ones. the scene in the original (episode 4) movie when chewbacca growls at the little toaster droid and it runs away has always been one of those little details that made you feel like you could relate to the universe of star wars, even if it wasn't completely familiar.
