Now I've been known to like the more mature and action packed Disney films (Hunchback, Mulan) more than the happy singalong classics, so I am not sure this one's for me. Depends on how much singing there is At least there seems to be plenty of humor.
I certainly was not expecting how dark The Hunchback of Notre Dame was going to be. Course, I was like seven when it came out, so maybe that's not the best example. But for reals, they make trailers to make a movie to play up a certain aspect, and I think what they're trying to do here is the "classic Disney" feel. I expect the film will probably be more action-y (like Mulan or Beauty and the Beast) rather than passive à la Cinderella because that's just how movies go these days. I think anyway. Maybe I'm just rambling now.

Here's hoping that the animation is more Lion King than Pocahontas. *NM*
