I was not a great fan of Moriarty. He was not at all like the character of Moriarty -- it seemed more like a Joker type villain. Very odd. VERY odd. But I did like the mutual sacrifices of Holmes and Watson. I love that sort of stuff in the books, and it works very well in moving pictures, too.

I think I'd have preferred him not showing himself, or him being old and more serious, but maybe this'll be great. I'll just wait and see if the BBC will show some more.

Thoughts?

I absolutly adore watsons' sweater. I am totally going to try and find a pattern for it and knit it.

Edit: also, who else enjoyed the opening?
