I am not quite sure where the next series will go. I get the feeling from the end of the current one that this is halfway through a two season/series story arc. There were questions left unanswered at the end of the last series.
The who is River Song saga will have been spread over three series by the end of the current one, and it has been built up so much it really needs a big payoff - a what the f*$£ moment - to make it seem worthwhile.
Oh, definitely. But I have confidence in Moffat to pull that off. Plotting is his strong side, usually. Certainly compared to Davies.
Anyway, roll on Christmas.
Indeed. Although I doubt the answers will be presented there. I have a theory that Michael Gambon will play Santa Claus. High hopes.
