I thought "Tara" was good. Not many can act genuinely afraid like she can. But I am getting tired of the constant WTF face she has on every season/episode.
That flashback scene for Eric as a Viking; when the cloaked figure appeared with the forest backdrop, it totally looked like it could be out of Game of Thrones. I researched Russel's past and he seems to be over 3000 years old. How is the Magister and vampire law going to have any power over such an ancient and strong vampire?
Also, anyone else getting the vibe that Joe Lee has Tommy mixed up in underground dog-fighting? Could explain the "I own you!" ranting and the scars on Tommy's body.

How does Russel being 3000 years old jive with Godric having "none standing higher than him in the New World"?
Also, noone I've talked to has even a clue what's up with Joe Lee and Tommy. This is a very good explanation. It works well with Tommy telling Sam that he used to get into alot of fights, and that he turns into a large pitbull.
