2010 Emmy Nominations Dreaded Anomaly Send a noteboard - 09/07/2010 10:54:28 PM
My opinions on the nominations:

The good:
Lots of love for Lost, Mad Men, and Modern Family. Conan's Tonight Show gets a nomination as a giant fuck you to Leno. The question is, can he appear on television to receive the award?

The bad:
No nominations for Community, and only Sound Editing for Fringe. Two of the strongest shows last season got completely shafted. John Noble gave some of the strongest dramatic performances in the history of mankind this season, and gets ignored because the Emmys seem to only be able to support one sci-fi show and Lost took that spot this year. Also, Party Down deserved something.

The ugly:
Jon Cryer gets nominated again, and Two and a Half Men gets several other nominations. Also, Jim Parsons gets nominated for playing the most irritating character on television.
