Meh.
Here's the thing. It was decent.
Perhaps I was surprised that it wasn't as bad as the reviews I had read and perhaps but it wasn't awful. The acting was terrible and there was absolutely no humor at all which I found to be one of the biggest faults of adapting the show to the film but it wasn't as dreadful as I feared.
3D was a waste, definitely don't pay extra for that but it oddly enough left me looking forward to the next Book in the saga.
More to the point, my kids loved it which is really what it is all about.
