I never watched many episodes of the show. Only a few and I honestly don't remember their plot or much about it. I do remember enjoying it and some generalities, but nothing specific.
Going into the movie without the bias of knowing the source material, I'm thinking I might not dislike it so much. It seems that most of the criticisms I've seen are based around its butchering of the source material. We'll have to see.
