The main character does dress well! They picked a really good actor for that role, he is very handsome and charming. I found each show is pretty good as a standalone episode as well as fitting into the overall plot. I also like the role Muzzie (?) plays. He makes a great nerdy sidekick.
In the beginning I kept thinking "Bryce Larkin", but I got over it fairly soon. And yes, I do like the nerdy sidekick (Mozzie, I think). There is good casting in general. I loved Mark Sheppard as the bad guy in the first episode.
I don't want to spoil anything but I am kind of glad about what happened in the season ending episode, I didn't see that direction going much of anywhere.
Yes. Although I wish we could have gotten some clarifications as to her motives. It was all a little airy. I could never tell whether she was just a bad actor or was trying to signal that she was not what she pretended to be.
I am also surprised that they are starting Season 2 so quick. Season 1 just ended in March. I'll definitely be checking out Season 2.
