It's a nice twist on the Buddy Cop genre, and I think it works pretty well. I can kind of picture this being the continuation of the movie Catch Me If You Can (if Frank Abignale Jr. were also a jewel thief instead of just a forger). It's not the best show I've ever seen, but I plan to continue watching the series as it airs.

I should probably explain myself a little further. I have a very limited amount of time to spend watching television. I'll check out a new pilot, and if it doesn't catch my interest (or, after a time it loses my interest), I'll drop it right away because I just don't have time to waste on TV shows I don't really like. So, if I say that I will continue watching, it means that it is one of the top 3-4 shows in the season in my opinion.

White Collar falls in the area of something I have enjoyed watching, but I may drop it if something better comes along. It might not make the cut if it were aired during the regular season. Perhaps if I paid more attention to (or, rather, cared) what Caffrey wore....
