I like how it seems to promise an even longer plot line, although I suppose the identity of the meddler might be revealed in the next special.
I hope it gets a whole nother season.
That would be good.
I am still not clear about that. What did he tell her? Did he say that about the TARDIS? If so, that went in one ear and out the other, but it did strike me as a remarkably good description of the TARDIS.
When the Doctor was talking to little Amelia as she slept, after his past self had scampered off. He told her about the TARDIS, how she would remember it and dream about it. He said the box was big and small, old and new. He told her he had stolen it, and then amended to say that he had borrowed it really, he meant to bring it back. He described it as being the bluest blue you could imagine.
Ah, I remember now. I thought you meant he had said it in the original meeting. But yes. That was just me being silly as usual.
But yes, that description, while I was tearing up a little, didn't make me think "aha, a clue!" as it should have done.
Basically, he planted all the wedding tradition notions into her head regarding the TARDIS, so that they would unlock on her wedding day if she thought about it just right (and that was the best day for it to unlock, because when the universe was restored Amy was returned directly to the night before her wedding, meaning the hidden memories would be freshest.
The Doctor is a very clever chap.
He knew there was a chance it would work, too, as evidenced by the fact that he was dressed up and ready for a wedding.
Looking oh, so smart.
My one question is this: how on earth did the Doctor get the time-device? When did River take it off? I thought she still had it in the TARDIS when it exploded!
She must have taken it off at some point. It seemed to have been sitting on the ground outside the Pandorica. I don't remember her taking it off, but she wasn't wearing anything like that in the TARDIS.
Yes. I need to see Pandorica Opens again just to make sure it is shown. If it isn't, it will bug me no end.
Isn't it weird that we arrived at the correct conclusion despite the time device in actuality being neither in the TARDIS nor in the forest?

She then told it her name, and asked it to check its records.
