Whilst I loved that there wasn't a resolution for everything, it kind of frustrates me at the same time. I just want to know. And I didn't get as emotional as the last finals. I think it's because I'm not really emotionally invested in Amy. I find her blah.
Rory on the other hand, I LOVE him now. I enjoyed the echoing between them - the boy who waited and the girl that waited ending up together.
Is he still Nesteen though? Or has that been changed with the giant restoration field? I don't think I can cope with his stupid hand gun for an entire run of series........
And I want to know who River is right now. My friend Paddy has an interesting theory and it runs thus:
River is married to the Doctor. It doesn't need to be OUR doctor. It could be the one with the doctor's memories that ended up on the other side with Rose. Rose marries him and thus learns his real name. Then in the future she finds her way back. She's done it before.
She would be careful of spoilers because of the drama she went through with her father in series 1......
And Alex Kingston and Billie Piper kind of look like each other.....

I think Rory has been restored to his human self. I can't be certain of that, but it's what I would guess.
As for River, I'd be surprised if she was somebody we already know, if only because I'd feel weird that the accents don't match up. After all, River can't be that much older than Rose, she can't be more than 20-25 years older, and may be less.
I've heard a theory that she could be a future version of the Doctor too, a female version, but I don't buy that. Whatever it is, I guess we'll learn more next year!
