What short-lived TV series would you like to have come back (either with original cast/crew or brand new people) for a full run? I personally would have liked to see the FOX show Reunion come back for a full season. I was hooked on that show and was EXTREMELY let down when it was canceled after only 9 episodes aired of the planned 20.

So what would your choice be?


Defying Gravity was a neat little show about a crew of astronauts on a scavenger hunt around the universe. Fox spent almost no time advertising it because they weren't sure if they were going to pick up the show, and in doing so, they lost the ability to get a good following audience. They also spoiled it for the SyFy channel because they wouldn't be able to call it original. Some idiot even said it was like "Grey's Anatomy" in space (d'oh) and that removed all the hardcore SciFi fans from the mix.

It is NOT Grey's Anatomy in space.

9 episodes were aired in the USA, another 5 were aired in Canada which are available online, and absolutely nobody will pick this show up. Out of 14 total episodes, it took them 11 episodes to build up what the REAL point of the mission was, and it was fully revealed in only the last episode.

I wish this would come back somewhere. The show had a slow start, but it got really good, with strong identifiable characters.
