The bicycle that Smith managed to throw into the street while chased by The Monster... I am not sure, but it looked to me like it was not an 1890 bicycle... Now, this could be a case of the "let's just have any old bicycle there", but it would be really unnecessary to add a bike just for the sound of it falling if it was historically off by some years...

I might be reading too much into it, considering the story took place 1½ years after vinnie cut half his ear off, and I seem to remember he had both his ears in the episode. I mean, the most famous bit of history about that painter, and they just ignore it?
