Without either demographic, the show would not exist. That being said, can you be surprised they take cheap shots like they do?

I really liked the movie, and I went into the theater after reading nothing but bad reviews. I dont know what the critics are talking about, the lines were fresh and funny and the fashion was HOT! Now if only all husbands would buy their wives black diamonds after they admit they cheated, I need a Mr Big!
If it's a black diamond, wouldn't that mean the opposite of whatever nice sentiment is conveyed by giving normal diamonds?

Sarah Jessica Parkers face has changed and gotten so much skinnier and it makes her look really scary when she puts on dark eye make up, to be perfectly blunt, the woman is pretty friggin ugly.
She always has been. I remember my father complaining about her in a couple of movies she made back when she was theoretically in her prime, so I can't even put off to any issues I might have with her looks being aimed at someone more mature than me (as for instance, Jean Smart or Ann Margaret)

I really could have done without seeing Liza Minelli performing "Single Ladies" , it was disturbing.
You are not the target audience, as your comments below suggest you are not a homosexual man. Leave them to their fun. You chicks don't like it when your chick flicks are ridiculed for their unrealistic relationship portrayals, so let the normal guys have their explosions and the queers have their icons.

The gay wedding was pretty unbelievable because if anyone has ever seen the show Charlottes gay BFF would never have fallen for Stanford the bald turtle looking gay guy. And the fact that the bald gay one gives the cute gay one permission to cheat if he can have swans at the wedding...?seriously... wtf?
It's not like he has to worry about his spouse getting pregnant and forcing him to raise another man's bastard.

And then there is Aharlottes nanny problem. so the hot Irish nanny has perfect breasts and doesnt like to wear bras and all the husbands stare at her oh so jiggly parts. Ummm ladies those of us that are top heavy can tell you that it hurts like a bitch to not wear a bra and jump around 24/7. And then she conveniently turns out to be a lesbian at the end so no fear of the husband cheating.
A convenient plot twist in an escapist fantasy targeted at women? What next?

Miranda being the culturally sensitive person that she is has an arabic translion dictionary which for some reason has hindi words in it like "Haan ji"? seriously...how was that overlooked?
Because the target audience doesn't want to be culturally sensitive, they just want to feel good by rooting for a character who is stated in the dialogue to be culturally sensitive. Follow through? Not so important.

Then there was the scene at the pool where Miranda is forcing Samantha to cover up her cleavage "because we are in the middle east". ummm did she not see the dozen women in the background dressed in bikinis all around the pool? they were in a friggin private pool in their swanky hotel, if there was a place to act respectful of the host countries culture it would be in the public market where she throws her condoms in people faces, not the pool in a private hotel.
See above. Culturally sensitive only when MILDLY inconvenient. Modifying your behavior is not at all what they mean by sensitivity. Plot question? If thse broads are married, why does she have condoms? They are a bit long in the tooth for worrying about unplanned pregnancy, and marriage would seem to preclude disease.
