David Hewlett as Dr McKay in a few episodes of SG-1, and throughout Atlantis, is freaking awesome. Even if you end up hating SG-1, watch the Atlantis episodes "Tabula Rasa" and "The Shrine" from seasons 4 and 5.

And for the two of them together, the Atlantis two-parter "First Contact" and "The Lost Tribe" from season 5.
