I like the show, but not the way they abandon characters and plot points.

I know it's a budget and ratings thing, but the unexplained changes annoy me.
They had some sinister villain organization connected to Beverley and then dropped it.
Jack was dating the dry cleaner, but they dropped it.
Allison has a son, but we never see him any more.
Matt Frewer was a central character, but they dropped him.
Nathan Stark was awesome, but now he is not.
They keep adding new characters, but at the expense of screen time for characters already on the show.
I'm still watching, but I wish they'd handle some things differently.

I particularly like when characters related to dropped characters stay.
