I would say that few players would plot out such a tactic, since I can not recall anyone every lingering at L-1 for three days, and by and large someone planning to execute this tactic would have to try to guess what day a lynch would go off three days prior, with no way of knowing who might also be going inactive/RBIRL or returning from that status. I can't see how this would be an unfair tactic to use if someone chose to either. Let's say a townie things someone is guilty, but would prefer not to vote for them since they view it as iffy, and they themself have not spoken in two days, they may choose to wait it out, figuring that they can vote in if they see something new, or others will unvote if something else pops up, and basically just take a knee on the rest of the day. A DF might do the same, both have equal access to the tactic, both share the various risks and unpredictabilities of trying to use it, their is no gamebreaking aspect of it, and if it is used repeatedly it will become a sign of guilt/antitown behavior, not to mention they'd know doing it risks failure or modkill if their timing flubs. So I would have to say that it's a fairly poor tactic either way you cut it, but not debalancing nor likely to be used much, hence no need for a ruling from me, their may be occassions when it would make great sense to use it tactically, and I can't see a reason to ban it... at this time.
