That's the part I now doubt. It has nothing to do with my role. I don't believe your role.
I honestly find this somewhat ironic considering you basically backtracked into claiming a Survivor yesterday (after F-T admitted that he wasn't a survivor, and couple others also claimed to have similar win conditions). So, the claim to me is kind of shaky that way, but not so much so that it is unbelievable. But is there anyone who would be able to confirm your night actions? You claimed to be a roleblocker, right? Did you take any actions yet? I believe you already said you didn't do anything Night 1. Also, I guess whoever is the thief would be able to confirm you character role, now that they have your hat (although that doesn't say anything about your alignment).
Isaac recently posted a deadline message, and ended it with:
OK, so let's look at the <a href"http://www.readandfindout.com/rpg/messageboard/217084/">rules</a>, conveniently written by Isaac, our moderator. Look at the topic headings. "Introduction," "Do's and Do Not's," "The Lynch." Clearly, Isaac considers lynching to be a "core concept" in mafia, and he would not have posted as he did if the town could win without lynching.
My statements yesterday presupposed that you were telling the truth, and that is something I no longer believe. Perhaps you're part of a cult, as beetnemesis has theorized. In any event, you're not what you say you are. The only reason I voted for Taiga instead of for you is that he's already got a vote against him.
Now whether you're a cult or some other scum faction, I, as a Survivor, could still win as long as you won. So why would I stick my neck out for the town like this? The answer is simple, and I suspect is the same reason that prompted Isaac to post as he did.
All these deadline no-lynches are boring.
I'm not completely convinced he is talking about lynching per se. To me, the more confusing aspect of this game is that we don't really know who is "good" and who is "bad"; at times, the native Ankh-Morporkians seem like the bad guys (Hippos) and other times they are the victims (today's bridge attack). We also have a confirmed Undead Vampire who was a part of the Watch and could carry out a Night Kill. However, he himself was killed, so that suggests what you referred to as a TANK. I'm going to guess the Watch is a pro-town force, but knowing the little I do about AM/DW, the patrician isn't always a good guy, right?
So, I read his message more as an explanation that, yes, there are conventional town and scum factions at play. As for lynching, it certainly does seem a "core" part of mafia and I'm not opposed to lynching scum. However, our role messages being what they are, you can't blame us for taking what appears the safest route (no lynch) towards victory. And as for it being boring... well, that's not the players' fault for playing to win; that's something the mod should have thought about if in fact that was something he wanted to avoid.
Anyway, I see a couple votes for Taiga. From what I've read and reread, the case against him is shallow at best. Artsapat voted him because he think he's lying about the zombie visiting him last night. I look forward to hearing a more detailed explanation, but I'm not seeing why this is true, or why it's even concerning. So far, we can't tell that the zombie has had any effect on anyone, and we have no proof that it was sent by someone in the first place.
You seem to be voting him just so we can lynch someone. So with that whopping amount of evidence, I will once again have to abstain. It does seem though that F-T and other have hinted that the game is slow so far because people are building/preserving morale, hopefully for some more action later. I trust F-T, so I'm likely to no-lynch again today unless something big comes up.
