Well, looking at the options
1 - "About time for a new bridge anyway" - Do Nothing
2 - "The saboteur must have been a very clever to do things so precisely" - RPS on Wit
3 - "This guard knows more than he's telling, I'd better follow him" - RPS on Stealth
4 - "This guard knows more than he's telling, I'd better beat the truth out of him." - RPS on Combat
5 - "With all that's been going this must be a Hippo Plot to garner public sympathy, I'll find a Hippo and beat the truth out of them." - RPS on Combat
6 - "With all that's been going this must be a Dwarven Plot to attack the Hippos, I'll find a Dwarf and beat the truth out of them." - RPS on Combat
7 - "With all that's been going this must be a Troll Plot to blame the bridge collapse on the Dwarves, I'll find a Troll and beat the truth out of them." - RPS on Combat
8 - "I'll go inspect for signs of magical residue" - RPS on Magic
9 - "I'll Capture that Hippo!" - RPS on your choice of stat: Combat, Magic, Stealth, or Wit.
I went with 9 because I could choose a stat and to me it sounded like we could get some reward/info for capturing the Hippo. The other choices seemed more like a gamble, especially the ones involving combat. I mean, what made you decide to beat up a Dwarf instead of a Hippo or Troll?
For me, like F-T, there was no group that I felt stood out too much from the others, especially because in this case, it was the Hippos who were victims. If you remember the event resolution from yesterday, people who fought the wrong side got punished. And so, I decided to circumvent the combat options and go after the Hippo.
