It's easy for you to claim that it was 'a calculated ploy' now, though I'm not sure how you expected me to have so poorly thought out my actions that I would make an unprovoked, extremely unusual revelation on Day 1 without enough foresight to be able to respond to "Are you a survivor, 'cause I can't imagine any other roles not requiring someone's elimination". I mean, what trap am I supposed to fall into? Did you think I would have completely fabricated such an outlandish claim without giving some thought to what victory objective I could use for it?

More to the point, you actually did say you could not imagine a role other than survivor not requiring the elimination of other players.

Either you're a survivor, you intend to eliminate other players, or you were lying.

None of which are the most trustworthy options.

The first rule of being a ninja is "do no harm". Unless you intend to do harm, then do lots of harm.
