I've done some effectively factionless but never even considered this sort of option, it's enough to consider making me consider passing Berg my mantle as Dark Lord Though well executed by you and rana both. You know I had a great masterplan on night one, for us all four to claim to be cops, gorgeous idea ready to execute but we had to write it off as soon as the dead Italians and badged Taiga showed up. Now that one is spent, the arsenal of tricksome new ideas is getting awful low these days, I was proud of that one, always held back because it was tactically tricky with a normal sized faction if doable, and so potential fun it was worth the risk, burned it on the one game it couldn't possible have worked on. Damn.
I'll grant it, though I'm not feeling bad at the outcome, based on my facts available I made good calls. Closest I came to this one was while I was fairly sure I had an infiltrator I nosed around that I might have two, one russian and one italian, and did a sort of 'hell, maybe a ruskie, a jap, and a townie!' thought, but it wasn't serious. Suspecting my fellow scummers comes naturally to me, but not that they might be townies. Damn, damn, damn, I almost wonder if a demon popped in to edit my rana-version's RM about informants just for the sheer cosmic perversity of having the town screw me for a change. Wouldn't that be fitting?
