Yeah, I should be packing right now, but this has been in my head.
Taiga is in a tough position at the moment. Claiming to be a cop has gotten a few unvotes but he is still the frontrunner. Clearly he wants (it's just occured to me that I have no idea if Taiga is, in fact, male. Apologies if I am incorrect in that.) to get the focus off of him, but the most obvious way of doing that denied him. Anyone he votes for will likely just vote for him, and then he is three votes down.
Galadriel and I are unlikely as mafia members, me because I am new and expressed from the beginning that I was unsure of how the online version would work (still fuzzy in some areas), and her because I find it unlikely that Hieshyn poofs if she (might as well vary my gender assumptions) were the mafia. So the only two safe suspects for Taiga to accuse are also fairly unlikely. So Taiga opts to push for a no lynch. Unoffensive to pretty much everyone, and bloody great for the mafia, which is the problem.
The fact is we need to lynch somebody. Taiga has enough slips to make an interesting suspect. Worst case scenario, we're killing the cop, but how effective is a cop outed in the first round anyway? I say we do it, see if we've won, and if we haven't, move on to day 2.
Being new in your case or replacement in Galadriels case doesn't make either of you any less likely to be scum since the roles are random. I was scum in my very first game (not on this forum).
