the current rc requires only three possible options, the mod screwed up the character, taiga misread it, or taiga is lying. any of those are possible options but i lean toward #3. taiga is claiming an impossible character and one i can't see the mod making with that much detail.

option 1: it is possible, but not likely, that artsapat know the series well enough to include psi rating but forgot that the psi corp only picks its most powerful telepaths to be psicops. not very likely though, the whole p12=psicop thing is mentioned a lot, nearly as much as psi ratings entirely. a p1 also can't read minds at all, they can notice if someone is reading them, that's about it.

option 2: misread, "you're a level 1 telepath on the run from the psicops, once per night you can cop someone" --> "oh, I'm a psicop" believable but iffy, i have to assume most people took a moment to look up their character and both the fan wiki and wiki-wiki both explicitly mention the p-scale and p12=psicop thing, and we've established that ignorance=anti-town when it comes flawed claims. if taiga is a psicop then looking it up is expected and it would be impossible to miss:

now at a minimum if tiaga looked up the concept as we expect people to do, that rating issue should have come up and either been mentioned to us as a 'don't know why but i am only p1' or been asked of the mod who presumably would have explained or corrected. so it smells of poorly researched fake claim. this is possible though, just didn't do the research.

option 3: taiga's lying, this just seems the more likely option. i'm not going to say 100% but better than 50%, what he's lying about is hard to say, being a p1 or being a psi cop or being a townie but none of those options is a good thing.
