When I (we, artsapat also) were young we had 3 (when we were REALLY young even 2) public channels. Commercial television didn't exist in the Netherlands. For childrens 'needs'...well there were programs on wednesday afternoons, from about 14.00 til 17.00. Those programs were mainly for kids aged 3 till 7 or 8...
