In my experience people think their hunches have a good track record since they only remember when they were right, not wrong, doubtless you are the sole exception to that rule

But seriously, I do encourage people to run down their hunches, intuition is often based off subtle subconscious clues, it's just that often those clues are garbage so it's not to be trusted, just cause to do more scrutiny. Not to accuse and vote. Obviously I follow hunches all the time, we all do, roughly 90% of mine are wrong in whole or part. So I don't drop a vote on someone, and incidentally leave it on them since you still have a vote for me up, until I have more than 'hunch'
