If I've caught the general average sentiment here, there is a desire to do all the various schemes currently on the table, I think I've figured out a way to streamline that so, here it is:
1) All players will submit a coded roleclaim, and are advised to choose a key or decrypt method that is fairly sturdy yet also fairly appropriate to the game, so that the decode is believable... this must be submitted within the next 72 hours, preusmably deadlining at Thursday midnight.
2) All Players will also code - separately - the player who they find most suspicious and ideally a brief phrase of why, the player will later on Day 1 decode that and include a detailed explanation of why they suspect that player. Players may certainly encode their entire long reason but this is not required. Deadline for presenting this is also Thursday night. Players planning to encode messages longer than a sentence or so should avoid using Vigenere, or use it twice, once on the plaintext then again with a different key on ciphertext... please keep in mind that the link we give for Vigenere [which is not the only automated encryption applet on the web] does encrypt by leaving capital letters capitalized and lower case lower case.
3) Players will be assigned randomly one other player who they must present a case for, specifically a detailed investigation, they should seek to find reasons why that player may be a scummer but ultimately are expected merely to prove they throughly investigated that player from a prosecutor' perspective. The list with the assigned players wil be attached to this post, using the seconds digit of this message in the fashion previously discussed under 'Plan F'.
4) Finally, players will be expected to present their formal case on both the voluntary and random selections within a reasonable period of time of the Thursday night deadline, preferably as two separate posts and threads will be placed to post them in reply to to keep them neat and orderly... players are expected to present cases on two separate people, so on the off chance your random selection is the same as your selected one, you are advised to pick your seconds choice, as otherwise we're likely to have a lot of people who 'coincidentally' got assigned the person they really suspected. If you elect to do the same person anyway, be aware that unless its a real slam dunk you will be viewed as anti-town by dint of laziness.
Finally, if you have any objections or amendments to Plan G, make them known quickly, and it is expected such objections should be pretty solid as otherwise it would represent a needless delay to an already lengthy Day 1. This message will shortly be followed by the randomly assigned cases and a separate thread for role encryptions and selected accusation encryptions.
