For those who are regulars to the RPG Board, the game has deliberate similarities to Mafia and the Coin Game. Each Round is essentially a normal Mafia round with a the casting of votes and 2 Coin Game Rounds during it. You really don't need to do much but review your faction and skim the rules before play. Just look over your own faction and be ready to NB the moderator with a list of bids when the first Auction starts, that auction goes on for a couple days and another opens, and that goes on for a couple days, then you need to decide how you're voting and send it in. That's pretty much it, you may want to engage in some other Actions on day 1, or move some troops around to protect some of your off-world stuff, but you probably won't be getting attacked the first round or own anyone someone could assassinate, so you can pick those up later. The rules are mostly for the mod early on, since they list the tables for how to generate all the stuff in game, when players feel comfortable with the basics those can serve as handy predictors of what is to come.
