The game is confirmed to run at this point, exactly when it starts is still up in the air, the rules will go up Sunday or Monday in a new thread, the final version of the game allows late entry (game registration will always be open) so I wanted a new clean thread to serves as the reg and rules post that I can just link to, we'll do the Mafia norm of one thread per round initially. This is essentially the test run for a new game series, with game 1 having a Dune theme and probably sticking to that theme for a few games before rendering it down for generic theme.
For initial start date, no final decision yet, I would say Jan 2 but as the game is setup to absorb new players there's no real need to wait and once the rules go up I'll just be sending people their faction as soon as I've noticed they'd registered. Its just not the sort of game where the mod has worry over the player count for setup, so as soon as the rules are up we can begin, but I don't know if Xmas-New Years lull is boredom central or mega-busy for the average player so if player's have an opinion on this let me know, obviously if you don't I will assume 'mega-busy' is the majority descriptor and we'll go with Jan 2
Again, rules up a day or two after Xmas, the game is a go, thanks for joining if you have, feel free to join us if you haven't, and Merry Xmas

The intuitive mind is a sacred gift and the rational mind is a faithful servant. We have created a society that honors the servant and has forgotten the gift.
