The story is that the characters are in Kandor. They were travelling from Chachin when they were all in a town together (they weren't a party yet at this point). That town was attacked by trollocs and you were all captured, however, you escaped. You then met a guy dubbed Captain Creeper because I'm too lazy to think of a name for him. He has one arm from the trolloc attack and there was the whole incident about the corpse of his sister, about which you do not need to worry yourself. The party then came upon another town where the survivors of a trolloc attack were ralling behind some guy that wanted to purge the town of outsiders. So the party convinced the masses that they needed to escape to Chachin. And when going to Chachin they.....

That's the basic plot anyway.
