I don't particular object to lynching low contributors, since I think it tends to serve as a constant anti-town behavior, its good long term strategy to threaten to kill low posters and of course you have to occasionally follow through, but it doesn't tend to be the best strategic decision on any given day. We've all played enough games that a decreased odds of victory in one game is likely to be worth it to make future games run better, so its an acceptable option for most I think, but while I'm nominally on board with the idea, we'd have to acknowledge right up front that it wasn't the optimal route for killing scum on that specific day or even game.
