As for the openly claiming to be innocent bit, different communities have their own ideas of behaviours that would be considered scummy. In the one I used to play in, saying something like that would be seen as a paranoid action. Sort've a "methinks he doth protest too much" kind of thing. Statistically, most of us are townies. If someone feels the need to call attention to their status like that...

That said and explained, I have no actual suspicions of beet. And if the vote had started actually going against him, I would probably have unvoted.

(As for being the second person in this game to lay down a vote (after you )...well, people were complaining so much about me not voting last game. Though most of that was because I was away on vacation for about a third to half of the game.
