I mean the Chiefs have entered the AFC Championship (the pre super bowl final round) counts … I think the last 7 times and won it 5 times, with coming so close in 2021 with losing the championship against the Cincinnati Bengals in Overtime 27 to 24.. And in 2018 where they went up against the New England Patriots which still had the juice. So getting to the championship and losing it still makes sense.
And that means they been to 4 super bowls in the previous years and won 3 of those Super Bowls, plus fingers crossed the upcoming game in 10 days and change.
By what infernal power is that possible?
On July 6, 2020, Mahomes signed a record ten–year, $503 million contract extension keeping him under contract until the conclusion of the 2031 season. The contract is the largest ever signed in North American sports, more than tripling the value of the previous largest contract signed (although said contract was for a shorter 5 years, signed by Matt Ryan of the Atlanta Falcons).
Oh there is the demon deal laughs , damn that is a lot of money!

and my Uncle who is in ground zero of Independence , Kansas aka where Arrowhead is … always complains of how they are thinking of renovating or replacing Arrowhead for he does not want his taxes to go up and how Arrowhead is the 3rd oldest stadium still in football use. They just voted on this in 2024 and 60% of the locals said no do not raise my taxes to renovate Arrowhead and replace the nearby KC Royal baseball stadium.
Solidarity for a new stadium may break the winning streak.
